I know how you feel. I receive hundreds of emails each week with different yet similar stories. I tried to create a forum to help vent your thoughts but I feel many do not want to spend the time to register ... I encourage you to do so. For those of you who simply want to voice your situation anonymously, this is it!:)

I am a single mother of 4 girls. My ex husband was very abusive and he busted out some of my teeth and others have broken off at the gum. They hurt all the time. I didn't have money for it before and now even less. One of my daughters was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Can you please help me out so I can get a better job to help pay for my daughters medical care?

I need help. I mean it. I'm 25, and I can't afford dental work OR insurance. I am making less than $8/hr and my hours have dramatically dropped to 8 hrs/wk. All of my money literally goes to rent, and I cannot even afford groceries right now, yet I am not eligble for aid. I have a huge cavity in front that is killing me, and my entire smile has been mutilated by poor orthodontal work from when I was a teenager. I have gaps and am missing teeth because of it. I have gone for years without dental work because I cannot afford it. I'm so desperate.

I am 53 years old and in 2000 I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis, a auto immune disorder that attacks your healthy cells as well as unhealthy cells. It can't tell the difference between the two. After the diagnosis my teeth started to slowly break and fall out. In 2002 I had a historectomy and they started deteriorating even more. Now I am down to four teeth on the bottom and three on the top as well as about four that need to be surgically removed. I have a partial on the top that is ill fitting and I have to buy dental strips to help keep it in place. I suffer from sores in my mouth and sores on my tongue. I have stomach problems because I can't chew my food thouroughly and I have slow digestion resulting in chronic constipation. I would really love to smile again and be happy with my teeth. Any help I can get, even a little bit I will appreciate. May God bless those of you who have found it in your hearts to help those of us who need it. Thanks for caring!

I need dental surgery and I have no dental insurance! Unfortunately my situation is hereditary and there was nothing I could do to prevent it as I brushed when I was a child but now I have gingivitis and possibly worse. I have an estimate that a dentist took in May 2011 but it's probably gotten worse since then. I don't know what to do or where to start!

I am a 30 year old mother of 2 small children. My teeth were in horrible shape rotton very bad i 4 on the bottom pulled and i had found a great dentist who was able to basically patch the rest up with fillings so all of my remaining teeth are basically fillings i was so happy for about 3 years I am now determined to keep my teeth healthy but recently the fillings have started falling out i went to the dentist he said i will need crowns put on all of them this is very expensive work and i do not have the money i finally had my smile back and now im so afraid im going to lose it again im so sad and feel helpless

I think back to my grade school years and remember the last smile I showed others. From then on I never let anyone not even my family see the shame I hide. It's been so long since I anyone have seen me smile everyone says "you're mean you never smile" but that's far from the truth. I am embrassed of my overbite and mostly the two teeth growing out my top gum making me look like a vampire. We couldn't afford dental insurance when I was growing up and it even harder now that I am unemployed with five children. I can't remember the last time I visited the dental. I pray that I won so I can finally show my family and friends a huge smile they have longed to see from me. Thank you for letting me tell my story.

Hi, untill I had my first child ( no, not blaming him) I had fairly good teeth. When I was young between the ages of about 4 and 10, my "uncle" was a dentist.I took good care of my teeth until I started seeing him. There were 5 kids in my family and it was the 3 youngest of us who saw him. Every time I went to see him, he found numerous cavities, that noone but him saw. The 3 yungest of us were subjected to metal mouth. The 2 older had 1 and 0 cavities respectively. Because he was inexpensive, my mom took the 3 youngest to him until he lost his license. Now all the mercury filling are falling out as well as chunks of my teeth, I have crazy glued some of the larger pieces in. I need a couple of root canals, the pain is unbearale as well as the fact that many are full of gaping holes and are very sharp. I wake in the morning with bood in my mouth from these sharp broken teeth. I do have some dental insurance but have been told it would cost qpprox. $8500.00 to repair and this must be paid in advance. I cannot afford this. I wish I coulld because I am constanly in pain and have a very difficult time just eating. Can you help me? Or suggest someone who can. It's that or pliers. I have seriousy thought about dentures, but again,I ca't afford that either. I cannot tolerate hot, cold, or even breathing in cool air.Just this morning, while eating oatmeal I lost another hugs hunk of tooth. Please help, I can't take much more of this pain. Thank You

I'm a cute, nice girl with ugly teeth. I have a front tooth that is grey and all the rest are pretty yellow. I don't smoke but I do drink coffee. I'm in school and meeting people in my field, and it's embarrassing. These are people who could be potential employers for me.

I'm a 26 year old male from Pittsburgh. When my parents split 13 years ago, I ran away from home. Being homeless and a drug addict took it's toll on both my body and my teeth. I finally kicked the drugs and started getting my health back, but now my teeth are so ruined I can't stand to smile. Please help!

my teeth are all going south due to my personal lack of teeth brushings and a lifetime of mountain dew soft drinks was laid off three years ago and lost all medical benifits and so on now have a hernia plus bad teeth need any help for either problem can you please help thanks

I do not know what happened but all my teeth starting breaking and coming out about 4 years ago. I have 7 left on the bottom and 4 on the top. I am unemployed and can not afford dental insurance.I am raising my three grandchildren and I am so embarrased to have them see my mouth. I have 7 teeth left on the bottom which are very discolored and 4 on the top. I have a temporary bridge on the top but it is falling apart and it is my second temp because I can not afford to purchase a permanent one.I am so self conscience about my mouth, I never open my mouth in public. I have to look down when I talk to people. I am disabled and can not get insurance for two years with the state. I have tried looking for any kind of assistance and I have had no luck. I am willing to go any route to get my mouth back in shape, dentures, implants, bridges or anything that will give me my life back. A bad mouth has a very bad impact on people and can keep one from having any kind of social life. I stay in and only go out when I have to. I need any kind of help that I can get. Thank you for your time and for a chance to get my life back.

I just recently had my teeth on top extracted. Now my youngest son who has Down Syndrome wont hug me or give me kisses like he always has. I am looking for donations or funds to buy a top denture. Can someone PLEASE HELP..
